GLS CORP. EXPANDS PRODUCTION AT CHINA FACILITY WITH LAUNCH OF NEW DYNAFLEX® G7600 TPE GRADES

GUANGZHOU, CHINA – May 21, 2007 – Here at Chinaplas 2007, GLS Corp., a global leader in the development, manufacture, and supply of high-performance, custom-formulated thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), announced yet another expansion of production at its facility in Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou, China. GLS has added the DYNAFLEX® G7600 TPE series, raising the number of standard and custom DYNAFLEX grades it produces in Suzhou to more than 40. DYNAFLEX G7600 TPEs are available in a range of hardnesses and meet the demands of many different applications by delivering a soft, flexible feel and excellent grip; easy colorability and processability; and FDA compliance. The new DYNAFLEX grades are in full-scale production at the Suzhou plant, which opened less than a year ago.

DYNAFLEX G7600 TPE compounds, available in seven grades of natural and black colors, offer excellent surface aesthetics, a soft touch and non-slip grip, overmold adhesion to polypropylene, and easy processability – including excellent melt stability and no requirement for drying. Grades are available in Shore A hardnesses ranging from 30 to 90. Applications run the gamut from consumer, medical, and industrial goods, to building products, specialty items, and automotive components. The new DYNAFLEX G7600 TPE series is part of GLS Corp.’s standard product offering with a minimum purchase quantity of as little as 25 kg.
