Nobilas signs contract with Fleet Logistics to provide accident management services to one of the largest technology companies in the German market

Frankfurt, Germany – 20 June, 2007 – Nobilas Claims & Fleet Solutions, an expert in accident management has signed a contract with Fleet Logistics, a leader in fleet consultancy and management in Europe. Contracted by Fleet Logistics, Nobilas will provide accident management services to one of the largest technology companies in Germany. Nobilas will handle the entire accident management process including first notice of loss (FNOL), repair management, assessment services and uninsured loss recovery (ULR). At the same time, Fleet Logistics acts as the main contact for the company’s fleet management, including glass and tire replacement and scheduled maintenance.

This agreement followed a very successful pilot program that started in August of 2006. The company’s total fleet encompasses 16,500 vehicles.

Knut Krösche, Operations Director of Fleet Logistics: “The pilot in Germany has shown excellent results and exceeded the customers’ expectations. The program is convenient for the drivers, who call one central number for all services. At the same time, the company benefits from the most efficient process and high quality repairs, thanks to the combined strengths of Nobilas and Fleet Logistics.”

Nobilas' expertise in the repair process is reducing cycle times and delivers cost efficiencies whilst drivers benefit from high quality repairs. Nobilas employs repair management specialists who have a wealth of experience in the body repair industry. The company’s knowledge and efficient processes help customers to maximize the availability of their fleet vehicles on the road and enhances driver convenience.

The customer also makes use of the new Nobilas Connect application. This communication platform connects the Nobilas body shop online with the engineers, client service operators and the customer, allowing all parties to view the status of repairs online. As a consequence the cycle time of the repair process is reduced even further.

Thomas Geiger, general manager, Nobilas Germany, Switzerland and Austria, commented, “Our agreement with Fleet Logistics has created a highly efficient process for fleet management. Because of solid cooperation between Fleet Logistics and Nobilas and our state-of-the-art IT systems, the process is streamlined and made very simple for the driver. This solution is also beneficial for the customer, since both Nobilas and Fleet Logistics are experts in their own field and have created a transparent, smooth running process; which is confirmed by the first results of the pilot in Germany.”

Fleet Logistics contributes expertise in several areas: sourcing the best suppliers; managing vendors to obtain the best terms; and providing guidance on pan-European solutions. Knut Krösche, operations director for Fleet Logistics said, “The customer was looking for an international partner that could deliver streamlined processes, cost reductions and high-quality, responsive service throughout Europe. Together, Fleet Logistics and Nobilas have provided these benefits to the customer and are ready to expand our solution to other customers in Europe.”
