Victrex first Italian exhibition - Plast 2003

Victrex Europa GmbH will be exhibiting for the first time at the forthcoming Plast 2003, which is being held from May 6th to 10th in the Fiera Milano, Italy. The presence of Victrex at this important event and the recent launch of the Italian version of the website further strengthen the company’s commitment both to its valued customers and industry partners in Italy, and to a stronger European customer support organization as a whole.

Victrex Europa is represented in Italy by Reinhard Veljovic, who, with many years of business experience in Italy, is the Manager responsible for coordinating Victrex® PEEK™ polymer sales and market development in the region.

The Victrex stand A20 in Hall 22 will showcase the very latest advances in both application development and processing technology for Victrex® PEEK™ polymer, which has maximized the performance and added value of a wide variety of components used in food processing, electronics, pumps and valves and in general industry applications.

From complex, high volume injection moulded parts, to machined stock shapes for low volume production, Victrex® PEEK™ polymer’s unique properties provide tailor-made performance in the most demanding environments.

These include sterilizable products for the food manufacturing and catering industries (Victrex® PEEK™ polymer is FDA approved), leading edge electronic components, and highly wear-resistant industrial gear wheels, pumps and valves.

Victrex continues to actively expand the markets for Victrex® PEEK™ polymer by working closely with customers and end-users, and by focusing on pioneering product development backed by increased production capacity. Annual capacity currently stands at 2,300 tonnes per annum, with a further increase of 500 tonnes on target for October 2003.
