AVERY DENNISON’S THEME FOR LABELEXPO HIGHLIGHTS ITS FOCUS ON HELPING CUSTOMERS GROW

Leiden, The Netherlands - Avery Dennison announced today that its theme for Labelexpo Europe is “Together We Grow,” which will highlight the way the Company works with its customers to help them grow their businesses and profits.

”The theme represents what the industry and our customers really care about: new opportunities for growth,” said Erwin Zijlstra, Communications Director Europe. “At Labelexpo, Avery Dennison will show its four cornerstones for helping its customers find these opportunities. They are True Innovation, New Markets, Outstanding Services, and Dedicated People.

“Avery Dennison puts innovation at the centre of its strategy to grow the industry and help its customers to expand,” he added. “The Company not only creates new products for existing markets, but opens new opportunities in new markets for self-adhesive label applications. Avery Dennison’s innovations can also be found in areas such as lowering total cost of ownership and managing the environmental challenges and opportunities.”

What's new

Avery Dennison’s presence at Labelexpo will include:

• The introduction of a significant innovation in self-adhesive film labelstock that promises to be a game-changer for both label converters and brand owners.

• A celebration of the 100th birthday of their company's founder, R Stanton Avery, who developed the original concept of the self-adhesive label. His key innovations are still at the heart of the label industry today, and are reflected in the R Stanton Avery Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored annually by Avery Dennison as part of the Label Industry Global Awards presented on Wednesday 27th September.

• A showcase some of the recent major end-use markets where self-adhesive labels are taking significant market share, and the Fasson-brand products that support these growing markets. These include security labeling solutions, the expanding portfolio of dedicated Fasson wine labeling materials, and durable labelstocks for information labelling on goods such as automotive components and consumer electronics.

On the Avery Dennison stand, visitors can evaluate the world's most comprehensive portfolio of labelling-related materials -- supported by a global service team and service programmes that keep converters at the competitive edge. Visitors can join the Fasson team for lunch on the stand and for "happy hour" at the end of each day.
