AVERY DENNISON STRENGTHENS COMMUNICATIONS TEAM, APPOINTS THURSTAN ROBINSON FOR EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS

Leiden, The Netherlands - Avery Dennison is strengthening its European communications team, based in Leiden, the Netherlands, with the appointment of Thurstan Robinson (External Communications).

Thurstan Robinson will be responsible for developing and implementing external communications programmes to support Avery Dennison’s market-leading business-to-business operations. In particular, he will be working closely with Avery Dennison’s customers and other interest groups, including the media.

Thurstan Robinson joins Avery Dennison from his position as Vice President Corporate Communications for Getronics NV. Trained in the UK and the Netherlands, he has a background in corporate and marketing communications, media relations, strategic planning and change management. A citizen of the United Kingdom and New Zealand, Thurstan lives in the Netherlands, and is fluent in Dutch and English. In addition to his commercial experience, he worked as an academic for several years, and holds a Doctorate in Archaeology from Oxford University.
