AVERY DENNISON BOOSTS SERVICES IN TURKEY WITH NEW FASSON® SLITTING AND DISTRIBUTION CENTRE IN ISTANBUL
Leiden, The Netherlands - Avery Dennison announces the opening of its state-of-the-art slitting and distribution centre in Istanbul, Turkey. Operational from 15 October 2007, the new distribution centre supplies Fasson® self-adhesive labelstock and Avery Dennison RFID materials to label converters in Turkey.
‘The market in Turkey is expanding rapidly, and demand for our Fasson products has been considerable,’ says Jeroen Diderich, Avery Dennison’s vice president for operations and supply chain for Fasson roll materials in Europe. ‘Our new slitting and distribution centre will enable us to further strengthen our delivery capabilities in Turkey, providing our customers with even higher levels of service.’
Seamless service
Andreas Walzberg, Avery Dennison’s Istanbul-based manager for the Middle East and Africa, highlights the fact that 'converters can now order the whole range of Fasson products, from our unique new Fasson Lean Film labelstock and our sustainable paper labelstocks through to our broad range of beverage labelstocks. They can also benefit from our fast Fasson Exact service, offering materials slit to our customers' exact roll width requirements, removing the need to pay for offcut rolls. Additionally, our Avery Dennison RFID products can now be sourced from the same distribution centre, providing a seamless service to our customers for these leading-edge products.
