Shanghai, February 21, 2019– The Synergen series of adjuvants from Clariant, known for their great sustainability and functionality profile in the agrichemical field, will be the focus of the specialty chemical company’s offering during the 20th China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC), to be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, on March 5-7, 2019.

Conceived with strong sustainability features, the SynergenTM series adjuvants could be added to sprays to enhance their performance to benefit the agricultural industry with improved growing conditions, as well as better protection for crops, while leaving behind little environmental impact.

Similar to their counterparts from the rest of the world, the agricultural industry in China is undergoing a rapid industry upgrade to produce ever-growing yields. Technologies and innovations, such as adjuvants that improve growing conditions sustainably are having a huge role to play.

SynergenTM series to be showcased at CAC 2019

Made from mostly renewable material, SynergenTM OS is an environmentally friendly adjuvant for non-aqueous formulations and tank-mix adjuvants. Based on Clariant’s proprietary polyglycerol ester chemistry, it improves penetration in formulations and prevents crystallization on leaf deposits. The EcoTain® labeled SynergenTM OS improves spray retention and is suitable for biological farming.

The brand new SynergenTM SP 10A is an adjuvant that significantly improves the efficiency of crop retention and spraying. It is also capable of improving the retention of sprayed droplets on the leaf surface, such that loss due to drainage is also reduced. Free from organic silicon, SynergenTM SP 10A is suitable for solutions with various active ingredients.

Suitable for multiple types of aqueous adjuvant for Glyphosate formulations is the SynergenTM B 3155 adjuvant that has outstanding versatility and low foaming properties, allowing it to enhance the efficiency of herbicides. Its proven efficacy and lack of poisoning effect makes it ideal for use with various Glyphosate formulations, including those with ammonium, IPA and potassium salts.
