Rhodia Polyamide Announces a Price Increase in Europe, Middle East and Africa for its Polyamide 6 and 6.6 Technyl® Compounds
Lyon, France – November 29, 2007 – Rhodia Polyamide announces a 150 to 200 €/MT price increase for its Polyamide 6 and 6.6 Technyl® compounds in Europe, Middle East and Africa, effective January 1st, 2008 - or as contracts allow - to help offset rising raw material, transport and energy costs.
Rhodia Polyamide strives continuously to counteract escalating costs with productivity programmes and other containment measures. However, the sustained magnitude of costs increases makes this price rise absolutely essential.
