Rohm and Haas Introduces Environmentally Advanced Traffic Paint Technology
for Greater Durability and Worker Safety in China
Beijing, China, April 22nd, 2008 - Rohm and Haas (NYSE: ROH), the world’s leading supplier for binders and additives for paint and coatings, will co-host a seminar in support of several paint manufactures who will be introducing their environmentally advanced technologies for water-borne traffic paint. "INTERTRAFFIC CHINA 2008", will be held in conjunction with The 9th International Exhibition on Road and Water Transport Technology and Equipment" (China Transpo 2008), from April 24th to 26th. The seminar will take place in the #2 conference room on Friday, April 25th, 2008, adjacent to the Beijing Exhibition Center.
Waterborne Traffic Paint is a comparatively new concept for the road industry in China. However, with a series new polices developed and implemented by the China government regarding environmental change, sustainability and worker safety issues are more and more important for the road industry. The advantages of water-based traffic paint are timely and meet today’s needs for paint customers. During the seminar, Rohm and Haas will present information about its environmentally advanced FastrackTM technology, with a focus on energy savings and worker safety perspectives. Rohm and Haas sales and marketing experts will also be present to discuss how the company adapts its technology to meet the specific local needs of paint manufacturers around the world.
