Univar Announces General Manager Appointments in Europe
Rotterdam, The Netherlands – July 31, 2007 - Univar N.V. (Euronext Amsterdam: UNIVR), a world leader in chemical distribution, announces two senior appointments within its Univar Europe business.
Nicolas Lehmann will assume the role of General Manager of Univar in France and Hans-Peter Brader will become General Manager of Univar in Switzerland, effective immediately.
Nicolas Lehmann was Sales and Marketing Director for Univar in France and Benelux over the last two years. Previously, Nicolas worked for Plastic Omnium’s Performance Plastics Business in Europe, and for BASF in both France and Germany in operational, sales and marketing management roles.
Nicolas is a qualified Chemical Engineer with a degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris and an MBA from ESSEC.
Hans-Peter Brader is a 26-year veteran of industry, most recently serving as Commercial Director for Univar in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. During his career at Univar, he has been involved in Sales & Marketing management functions in Switzerland, market development with Transol Chemiehandel in Germany, as well as IT Business Processes for Univar Europe. Prior to joining Univar, Hans-Peter worked in the Engineering industry in the United Kingdom.
Hans-Peter is qualified with a degree from the Zurich School of Commerce. He served in the Swiss Army with distinction as a reserve infantry officer for over 20 years.
